why do people ask advise on situations but turn around and choose the best answer that revolves around what?

they want to hear??? why ask anyones opinion in the first place??? like someone asks if they should have an abortion and they’re considering it and they turn around and pick the person that says they should have one??? why ask then? keep your messed up life to yourself then… i hate answering questions and they do that. who else hates that?
