Is Sully the pilot who landed the plane in the Hudson safely, the best example of a local hero?
I think he is. I don’t live far from his home town and it looked like most of the town came out to see him today. We need more hero’s like Sully. What do you all think of Sully?

Yes, we need to get back to our first love, Jeancomm. The love for God. THEN we will be blessed as a nation. Obama says he is a christian. Well, by their fruits we shall know them and he just signed away his trust when he reversed that ban on providing funds for abortions..The bible strictly forbids abortion. HE will pay as their blood cries out from the ground..it still speaks crying out VENGEANCE! and vengeance is Gods and he will repay..He WILL not MAYBE.

I think he is the model of what a real hero really is. His wife was interviewed with their two children and the family displayed true class and calm. He had prepared his family for a day when something might go wrong; but, had also explained the high improbability of an event in air flight. A true hero. Not a pampered sports professional.

Sully came through for us as a first rate American when we needed to see something good happening in this world. The Lord gives us that boost that we need every now and then.
Pick yourself up America, dust yourself off and keep on truckin’! I know the Savior and He can turn this economy around tomorrow. Humble yourselves and pray and just maybe God will heal this land.

~~He is a man who did a miraculous job of keeping his head in an emergency crisis, thereby saving hundreds of lives (on board as well as in the Hudson).
Then stayed on board risking frostbite himself to make sure not one person was left behind. He went above and beyond his call of duty to save lives, and I think he deserves the label of "hero."
I sure would like to know he was flying the plane I was taking!~~
