If I want to play a 4 person band on Guitar Hero World Tour how many remotes do I need?

I heard that I didn’t need one for the mic. If this is true please tell me which instrument the mic will share a remote with.

    the mic comes with the remote built in so just by batteries

    I beleive it is 4 even for the mic so u can navigate menus
