Do you need the data plan for Sprint HTC Hero?
I was told I need to have data plan for htc hero for sprint. But I was told the same thing for htc touch pro, and I have that with out the data plan. Can anyone help?
Yes you have to get a plan that includes the data service. It’s only $69.99 for unlimited usage of all kinds of features. You can get the data service blocked if you want but, you will still be paying at lease $69.99 unless you are sharing minutes on a share minute plan.

Yes, need a data plan with a phone like the HTC Hero. Why would you want that phone and not be able to use all of its cool features?
