Rest is so important for your workout… probably just as much as the actual act of working out. Let’s take a closer look as to why this is the case.
During your workout, you are actually damaging your body. You create microscopic tears in your muscle. Sound pretty harsh but this is actually a great thing. During rest, your body works to repair itself and because it’s the master of adaptation. So what it is essentially doing is making itself stronger so the next time it sees a situation like that, it will be able to handle it.
Doing fat burning exercises where weight training is key will really help you achieve your goals and remember that the most important thing is to get your rest.
