Lease Terms August 15th, 09- August 10th, 10.

The reason was it’s a 5 day turn around time to get the house cleaned and in shape for new tenants.

Is this legal and would the rent have to be prorated 5 days less then the monthly rent given you’re paying for a full month in the last month?

Yes, it’s legal, and yes, you pay rent for the full term of the lease, i.e. until 8/10/10, if the lease states 8/10, and thru the 14th if the lease term states 8/14 (full month, even tho you vacate for cleaning by the 10th). Get clear on this before you sign that lease!

This owner/manager is determined to keep full occupancy and no periods of unpaid rent. Therefore, they may be in financial difficulty and desperate for rent, or else a real stickler on rules & regulations. Are you sure you want to live there? I would hesitate to live in a place that is obviously very rigid and potentially overleveraged.

I called a local vet (okay not really local.lol) Anyway, the lady said that its best to turn in an application because they have a quick turn around.

It means that people dont stay at that job for long. It usually means its a high stress environment or the job just sucks.

My complaint is against both parties for different reasons although eight years of Bush has been the main focus of my attention.

So why do people who state how poorly the government is run turn around and cheer when the crook from their party wins an election as though that person is not part of the problem?

Confusion and divisiveness. People are angry and want to fit into some "revolutionary" label at times. And no, I am not talking about the Tea Parties which are valid and NOT a conservative/Rep event as many keep trying to spread. This type of person who opposes every thing the other side is doing simply out of party loyalty is insane. The election purposely divided people, but many don’t know when to STOP. We all are being screwed by both parties, so what good is it being so partisan that you can’t find fault in anyone on your side? Bad for you, great for politicians. Baaaaahhhhh
