employer complains that I don’t turn around when he is talking to me?

Am I rude or is it ridiculous to have your computer facing a wall and have a boss that sits behind you and talks to you from his desk but expects you to stop and turn around to look at him??
No I do not enjoy talking to someones back and that is why I would never sit them facing a wall. I would want to see their face.

Generally it’s rude not to look at someone when they are speaking to u. But I don’t see why u can’t somehow have the desk moved to face him or turned to the side so u don’t have to swing ure head around all day. I’d tell him it’s awkward the way ure desk is positioned and see if u can have it moved sideways or completely around. If he just says no, then yes I’d say he’s a jerk.

how can the gov. foreclose on owners and them turn around and sell to some other person for so cheap?

Posted on October 24th, 2009 by admin in turn around | 3 Comments »

if the government can foreclose on a person and then turn around at auction and sell for nothing near what they are owed, and they have to be losing money, why cant they find to help the first owners keep their homes?

They are trying to cut their losses. The people who had the mortgage were not paying.

By the way, the government isn’t really in the mortgage business. They might seize someone’s property but for an entirely different reason.

Turn around the weight gain or too late?

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 by admin in turn around | 1 Comment »

I am 22 weeks pregnant and I have gained 42lbs so far? I might be eating alot of sweets on top of regular food and I think that is what cause my massive weight gain.

At 22 weeks is it too late to turn it around and maybe stop gaining weight or even loose while not harming the baby? Anyone else with the same experience?

It’s never too late to develop healthy eating habits! At this point I wouldn’t worry about losing weight though, just cut out what sweets you can and try not to eat so much junk. Talk to your doctor about exercise as well, that might help you keep from putting on too awful much more weight, but I don’t think you can avoid gaining more entirely.

Why does my dog turn around and jump at me towards the end of our walk?

Posted on October 20th, 2009 by admin in turn around | 5 Comments »

He is an 8month old doberman mix, sweetest guy ever.
My husband or I walk him every day, and he is walking pretty good now (not pulling anymore). However, once or twice a week, he turns around, and starts jumping at me and biting the leash. He kind of gets a wild look in his eyes and i suddenly have a hard time controlling him.
Any advice or suggestions on how to break this habit?

Puppies have so much energy its ridiculous. How long/far are you walking? It sounds like he still has too much energy and you might need to consider walking farther and longer to help burn off some of the extra energy.

Tired puppies wont jump and get so crazy.

How can I help my teenage friends turn their lives around?

Posted on October 16th, 2009 by admin in turn around | 1 Comment »

I have a group of friends that are always getting drunk and doing drugs and stuff. I used to be like that, but I have turned my life around. I can’t think of many things I would have responded to when I was like that and I’m just wondering if people had any advice that my friends wouldn’t get mad at me for saying/doing. The way I turned around was in a special situation so they couldn’t go through the same things.

Maybe you could just tell them reasons to quit..like these..
.
There’s a chemical in your brain called serotonin, right? When serotonin is absorbed by serotonin receptors in the brain, it causes you to feel happy. When you use drugs, it flloods your brain with serotonin, so that you reach a really giddy high. The problem is that your brain can only absorb so much of that serotonin — all of the extra serotonin turns to oxygen. When there is oxygen in your brain, it starts killing off brain cells, which can’t be replaced by new ones. So every time that you take a drug, you’re making it harder for you to learn, to process information…your memory is impaired, you can’t understand people nearly as well. Also, when your brain is overwhelmed with serotonin, it isn’t able to absorb anymore. This can cause severe depression. You’re also at great risk for mental disorders, behavioral problems, organ failure..the list goes on.

Alcohol can cause brain and liver damage/disease in a similar way, memory/learning problems, an irregular heartbeat, cancer, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, mental disorders, and much more.

Look up the effects of alcohol and drugs online and you’ll find the same stuff, I’m sure.

And I’m sorry, I know how rough this can be =[ i’m going through the same thing right now, and it’s difficult…but you’re doing the best that you can, right? You can only hope that they listen & learn from their mistakes. You’re being a great friend — keep hanging in there.

I have to prepare a turn around time (time standards) report for my office. Any one has a sample, please?

Posted on October 14th, 2009 by admin in turn around | 1 Comment »

I work for a BPO and we are to submit a weekly time standards report. The report contains the cases that have been processed within and out of turn around time. For the out of time standards cases, I am the one to present a analysis. So I am requesting any one who might have a sample report or the format, please let me know.

I tried looking up your answer on various websites, but could not find any. Try going up to wikipedia or answers.com. Sorry i tried

What is the biggest turn around, you have had in your life?

When I was growing up,I was the BLACK SHEEP in the family,I was the rebellious one,I drank,I would sneak around and do heaven knows what, while my brother and 2 sisters were the calm ones, but when it came down to it and my parents were elderly and sick,I`m sure they didn`t expect it but I was the one that came to take care of them,I`m not trying to brag on myself or anything like that but I just think its odd that my life turned out like this, after the way I started! How would you explain this?
dymond, sorry, but it was alot more than just growing up!

You had some level of awakening due to you situation in you life. It is a very big deal when someone we love is dying or sick. So that was the impetus to change. For me I just realized there was something missing in this big picture. And one day I found Him and He changed my whole life forever. I read the Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada and He told me that Krishna was The Absolute Truth. (Also known as Jehovah, Vishnu, etc.) and I started following the teachings and chanting the Names of God and my whole life changed on a dime. I am so happy and realize who I am now and the purpose of life and everything makes perfect sense to me know. For info on this go to harekrishnatrmple.com read the Gita-As it is. By Prabhupada and you will understand everything, including who you are in actuality beyond this material body. I love it.
