What type of car, and, at what time of the day, or, night? Were you the driver, or, a petrified passenger?

120mph in a - wait for it - Volvo estate. On the M1 as well!

I should stress that I wasn’t driving, we were going downhill (excellent visibility), the road was clear and dry and we had just cleared a block of traffic.

I would never let anyone I’m in a car with drive at a speed I believe they are incapable of maintaining safely, including myself.

I really thought about helping you out here, just because it would be fun to write. Then I looked at your profile and see that:

1. You answer other people’s questions so obviously without care and thought and apparently just for points so you can go ask more questions.

and

2. The people that are gracious enough to assist you or answer your questions most of the time don’t even recieve the courtesy of you selecting the "best answer" but they are instead selected by voters.

So instead I decide that if you are not interested in doing the right, then why in the world should anyone be interested in helping you?

Usually I pee like, really really fast. Like a speed pee-er. LOL. but ever since yesterday night I’ve been peeing prettyy slowly. Well not really slow just a little average. And it feels a little numb like I can’t really feel that I’m peeing. If it helps I accindetally hit my vagina on a railing at school, but not that hard.

What is wrong? SHould I just wait it out?

i would like to shoot night sports with at least a shutter speed of 400 with an f stop of 2.8. but when i go to shutter priority i lose my light and when i go to aperture priority i lose my shutter speed, i have a canon XSI 12.2 MEG WITH A TAMRON 70-200 with a 2.8 F-stop, thanks for your help, the photoman

1. Ideally a wider f-stop will save you kicking up the ISO by a stop or two, but as you’re already using a pretty fast lens even f1.8 or so would be better than an ISO kick.

2. So, it looks like you need to use the ISO instead.

Any noise may be helped by a product like Noise Ninja.

You should be in Manual wherever possible, as it is not fooled by the background tones of your subject… which is going to cost you shots, there’s only one way to get the exposure perfect every time, and that is to set it yourself!

I play fast pitch softball
i practice almost every night or every other night
im almost always accuarate and i can throw about 40mph
but i would like to get the speed up by the end of the summer to at least 50mph
im looking for drills or exercises that I can do inside or out

Hello! I am so excited to answer a softball pitching question! I have been pitching for about 4 years now and I pitch about 55 mph.

I have worked very hard and pitch every sunday… so one thing you need to do is make sure you take time to pitch about 2 hours every weekend at least and about 30 min each weekday.

I have a pitching coach that I go to and if you can afford or find one I would advise you to take pitching lessons.

If you want to throw faster, you need to lift wweights Doing ppush upshelp a lot to. Also, if you take a softball and nail 10-20 small nails into the softball to make it heavier and throw that for at least 10 min. during each workout, that will ddefinitelyincrease arm speed.

Make sure you keep up your arm speed also. That is very important. If you are 12-15 make sure you are not hurting your shoulder. I recently hurt my shoulder even though I have been pitching for quite some time. Try some shoulder strengtheners or something along those lines.

Running fast is more of a power workout. Run the 14 min workout 3 days per week, and add a longer slower run (say 30 minutes) once a week to help burn more fat. Incorporate that with a good core workout, and that help tone

me and my husband noticed a strange light that, at first, looked like a shooting star but it never burned out and it also it came back about 2 minutes later and it was way to high to be a plane and traveled at a faster speed

Persedies or something like that, it’s a meteor shower that happens around this time of year.

I was in the living, watching tv and all of a sudden something out of the corner of my eye got my attention, outside the window, hi in the sky there was a bright light dancing in the sky, moving left then right in big movements. it was happening for about 5 minutes then all of a sudden it shot up into the sky going toward space as a very fast speed. could it have been a U.F.O, i live in london near the city what do you think.

I saw something very similiar a few years ago. I know what I saw was amazing and unexplainable. It was three dots that looked a lot like stars. They were in a triangle shape. They started moving in a circle slowly all at once and then it shot off to the west at a ridiculous rate of speed. ie. there is no way it could have been a plane or any other kind of flying machine we have made. I have never seen anything move that fast. I told a bunch of people and got laughed at for months but I know what I saw. I live in ontario, canada.

Earth’s equatorial radius is 6378 km, so…
Earth circumference is 2Pi(r) = 40,054 km
Speed = distance/time = 40,054/24 hrs = 1669 km/hr
All points along the equator move at this velocity…

London is at about 51 degrees N latitude
The distance to the axis of earth’s rotation would be…
6378 cos 51 = 4014 km
Do as above and you get 1050 km/hr

If as you get closer to the speed of light time slows down, if you were to go faster than the speed of light would time go backwards and if so would you end up just before you went as fast as the speed of light so never realise you have broken the light barrier?

A common misperception is that as you go faster than the speed of light, time slows down. That’s not true. Time is relative. If you were on a ship going .99999999 the speed of light, you and your buds would perceive no changes in the perception of time. However to someone who was not moving, 1 of your seconds would tranlate into 2 of their hours. Now there are theoretical particles called tachyons that travel faster than teh speed of light, but they remain theoretical. If you could reach the speed of light, time would cease to exist. That is to say one second that you’d measure while travelling at the speed of light would be an infinitely long time to someone not moving.
