should i dye my hair this color?
i have really dark hair and i want to dye it a lighter color… and i’m not sure which one i should do and which one would look best on me…

i have already dyed my hair red at home… not as light but still…. but now my friends sis goes to a tech school for hairdressing and she’s going to bring some colors home and do my hair for me… so i thought going lighter would work with her…(she’s almost pro she’s graduating in a few months)
i would go to my moms hair dresser (she’s also a fam friend).. (my moms been going to her since she was a little girl).. but she’s known me since i was born and loves my dark hair and says that she won’t dye it for me becuse people would kill for my hair… but i would kill to get rid of it.

I would go for the hair color in the second link. The first one is a little too close to what you have now, whereas I don’t like the shade in the last one. It shouldn’t be too hard to lighten your hair since it would only be a couple shades. You are cute by the way

Your hair is really dark to begin with so i dont think the one that you have posted that says its your fave will turn out the way you want it too. It wont turn out that light. I would just start out doing the one with taylor swift because you have more of a chance of it turning out the way you want it to.
EDIT: my mom is a cosmetologist so it doesnt necessarily matter if a pro does it or not. I have light blonde hair and i have a hard time going darker. It doesnt matter if it is a pro or not but if you want to try it go ahead but dont get to disappointed if it doesnt turn out the way you want.

Your hair is already extremely dark, so I don’t think that some colors will turn out as well as you hope. I would, however, start out with Taylor’s hair, though it won’t make much of a difference, to adjust your hair to the dye. Just build up from there and see how it goes. (: I definitely wouldn’t get this done by a friend because of how risky it is, especially because you’re young. Definitely get a professional opinion.

Because your hair is so dark you’ll have to strip it which is really hard on your hair. If its already red i would leave it a darker red and get lots and lots of streaks the colour of the pic (your favorite pic) it would look really cool , be really multi dimensional and wouldn’t be quite as hard on your hair.
Ps. Bangs are always fun to get, quite easy to grow out and change your look dramatically without doing much to your hair!

i think you should start off with some light highlights to see if you like the tint. and if you love it then dye it all i like the third one its flattering
