Well, you hate MTV - that’s always a good start
Don’t concern yourself with labels and stuff. If you genuinely like the music and the stuff you’re into and you’re not buying into some pre-packed "image", no one can fault you for it. As I grow older, I get more and more tired of labels like, "Punk, thug, skater, emo, prep, jock" etc. We need LESS labels, not more.
Remember, Kurt Vonnegut once said, "We are what we pretend to be, so we must be very careful what we pretend to be."

Sounds as if you are someone that is going from kid to adult in a very well founded and indivualistic manner . It is good that you included the bible; just don’t let it trip you up to much

Way to go kid.
I suggest if you want a real history of America a new book out is this one. The last 50 years of history being taught in America is all political correctness.
A Patriot’s History of the United States
by Michael Allan and Larry Schweikhart
As far as your interests of music and pasttimes they appear to be electic or hetrogeneous. A mixed bag. Way to go kid!
